Safer Business Action Week

PCSO Kev Tudge and PCSO Becky Bullock from the Pickersleigh and Chase Safer Neighbourhood Police Team continue to actively support local businesses.

 This week is Safer Business Action Week (SaBA) which showcases what West Mercia Police does to tackle and prevent business crime. Running from Monday (10 November) until Sunday (16 November), SaBA aims to raise awareness of the issues affecting businesses such as shoplifting, burglary and anti-social behaviour.

 Officers from the Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team have been and will continue to support local businesses, working with partners to tackle business crime, and strengthening relationships between police and business communities.

 Some of the activities undertaken this week include: Drop in surgeries outside local businesses, liaising with shops and businesses to prevent and detect crime, refreshing our "Shopwatch" scheme, high visibility foot, cycle and mobile patrols in key areas & arresting any outstanding wanted offenders.
